Currently, there is no requirement for a body shop to be certified. Our General Motors certification ensures that we’ll repair your car using the latest GM technology.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are systems in vehicles that assist with driving and parking, enhance safety, and automate various tasks. The capabilities can vary, ranging from simple alerts (such as lane departure warnings and blind-spot monitoring) to semi-autonomous driving under certain conditions.
GM uses ADAS both as safety tech now and as a stepping stone toward more autonomous driving. GM restricts the use of aftermarket/reconditioned/salvage bumpers/fascias on vehicles with ADAS — they require genuine GM parts because material specifications, geometry, and how sensors mount, among other factors, matter for ADAS performance.
