Precision Body and Paint (Position Available At All Locations) is seeking a hard working, experienced Journeyman Body Technician to join our team. Comprehensive benefit package offered. Career-minded individuals may be offered continuing education/training.

Objective:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Be able to receive, review and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched.  Must be able to identify and perform all necessary tear-down and repair procedures necessary to bring the vehicle back to pre-loss condition
  • Maintain an organized, clean workspace and account for shop and personal tools at all times
  • Participate in continual Education I-Car, OEM training/education programs to hone and develop expertise in industry-leading Collision Repair technologies and processes
  • Current I-car certification a plus
  • Current ASE certification a plus
  • Must have 2+ years experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Any automotive manufacture certifications are a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance
  • Must have your own tools

Precision Body and Paint (Beaverton) is looking to add an Entry Level Body Technician to our existing team of collision repair specialists.   This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the collision repair industry.   If you enjoy working on cars, we want to train you to be able to repair them!

Precision Body and Paint (Beaverton Location) is seeking a hard working individual to join our team as an Express Technician. Comprehensive benefit package offered. Career-minded individuals may be offered continuing education/training.  This is an entry level position. Candidates must have some experience either from a trade school or technical college or in shop experience in body work.

Precision Body and Paint (Beaverton Location) is seeking a hard working individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician. Comprehensive benefit package offered. This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a minimum of two years previous mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop. Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.

Requirements:

  • Be able to receive, review and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched
  • Perform diagnostic services/Scans, DTC and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
  • Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
  • Perform the highest quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, SRS, calibrations and air conditioning in accordance with OEM Standards
  • Perform Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to OEM standards
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
  • Maintain an organized, clean workspace and account for shop and personal tools at all times
  • Communicate directly and efficiently with Production Manager, Blue Printers, Estimators, and Parts Department Employees
  • Participate in continual Education I-Car, OEM training/education programs to hone and develop expertise in industry-leading Collision Repair technologies and processes

  • Must have 2+ years on line experience in repairing and diagnosing vehicles

Precision Body and Paint (All Locations) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Estimator/Blue Printer. Comprehensive benefit package offered. This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a minimum of one year previous estimating experience at a dealership or large independent shop.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Communicate directly and efficiently with Production Manager, and all other employees
  • Participate in continual Education I-Car, OEM training/education programs to hone and develop expertise in industry-leading Collision Repair technologies and processes

  • Review customer needs with technicians and help develop solutions
  • Blueprint pre-repair plans on vehicles
  • Prepare pre-repair plans by accurately entering vehicle information, taking pictures, and documenting damages with proper damage and insurance notations
  • Understand and educate customers on OEM certifications during the sales and advising portion of pre-repair consulting, upselling as appropriate
  • Follow all SOP’s, as well as maintain and keep solid records and data
  • Complete final bills for customers, ensuring accuracy of parts coding and utilization from repair planning systems and management system
  • Prepare and review reports relating to pre-repair plans, supplements, and parts usage
  • Meet with body shop manager to review the previous week, discuss positive things happening, explore opportunities for improvement, and find what is needed for the current week
  • Notify the customer of any delay or change in the maintenance or repair of their vehicle
  • Review all charges and services rendered with customers to ensure their understanding and satisfaction
  • Complete check ins with customers and communicate customer request or upsells
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have 1+ years of estimating experience
  • Experience with CCC-One is a big plus
  • Valid Driver’s License and be eligible for insurance

Precision Body and Paint (Beaverton) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. Comprehensive benefit package offered. Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable. Make sure customer accounts are reviewed and accurate as payments get applied. Verify accuracy within the variety of jobs per customer.
  • Process AP invoices, scan paperwork and cut checks on a regular basis
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly to ensure that our entries match the vendor statement. Communicate with vendor to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile company credit cards
  • Prepare scheduled reports in a timely fashion
  • Assist and/or fill in for other accounting personnel when necessary
  • Work with the department to keep paperwork organized and assist with any projects as needed
  • Has a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a loosely structured, busy environment

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
  • Is proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and computer file management in a server environment
